About / Overview

Hi, I'm Raehyeon Jeong.

Headline

Living Entrepreneurial Life is Beautiful.

I believe a startup is the most beautiful art a human can make, and the greatest force humanity has. Silicon Valley's startups keep changing the world — and they can because they fail more often than any other city dares to. I'm in awe of a startup scene full of pioneers who keep taking infinite shots no matter how many times they fall. I have no intention of ever leaving the scene that creates new value, and I genuinely love building alongside the passionate people in it.

For two years I've helped run Private Meetup at Meetup Lab every four days, so all kinds of people can find and create bigger value more freely. I've taken part in at least 150 meetups while helping operate them.

I love people and I love philosophy — and I believe today's society, Korea's especially, needs to chase sustainability far harder than it does now, and take many more actions for future generations. That's why I build and operate Parentlyze, a service that helps parents so that even one more child can grow up in a better environment.

I studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University and Computer Science at 42 Seoul, and I love machines, computers, and software. I build countless tools just to use them myself, strapping them on like cyberware. I think I'm doing harness engineering on my own life, borrowing the power of software engineering to pull it off.

Persona 01

Founder

Co-Founder & CTO at Potentivo Lab. I officially launched and now operate Parentlyze — a sustainability-minded parenting-support service — across iOS, Android, and Web.

Persona 02

Software Developer

Next.js, Flutter, Supabase, FastAPI — frontend to GPU AI servers, payments, and auth, all by hand. I reverse-engineered Yonsei's course-registration mileage backend to serve lookups faster than the official one and drew 17,000 visitors in a week — plus a few NDA-bound projects I can't talk about. I also rebuild OS kernels, interpreters, and renderers from scratch.

Persona 03

Community builder

At Meetup Lab I've helped run startup meetups roughly every four days for two years — learning a ton under my mentor Sun Hwang, an MIT Award hacker. Beyond that: 71st president of the Yonsei EE student council, and four undergraduate years across Roboin (robotics), Drone, PoolC, YCC, CREAI+IT, Founders, and Blockchain At Yonsei.

Now
  • Potentivo Lab — Co-Founder & CTO, owning Parentlyze full stack, AI reports, and billing.
  • Meetup Lab — operator/member showing up at startup meetups roughly every four days.
  • Fjord Edu — running the academy web, booking, and payments stack solo for almost four years.
  • Recallink, Cardly Studio, Content Lab and other own-brand experiments running in parallel.

Operating principles

Rules I actually use, not slogans.

  • Build to learn — one release teaches more than ten theories.
  • Ship on purpose — beta or stealth, it has to reach a real user.
  • Hack with curiosity — when the road ends, dig down and rewire it.
  • Specialized generalist — frontend, backend, AI, infra. No stopping at any of them.
  • Community first — execution speed comes from rubbing against great people often.
  • Measure or skip — a hypothesis you cannot measure is one you should not build.
